Our Purpose
Port Macquarie GPs (PMGPs) aims to serve its patients by:
- Improving access to quality preventative care.
- Providing evidence based and patient centred management of disease.
- Integrating health care including nurses and health workers, allied health, specialists and GPs, for the benefit of patients.
PMGPs is equipped with state of the art medical equipment to assist in providing quality preventative care and disease management.

COVID Policy
If you are unwell or experiencing cold or flu like symptoms do not present to the clinic. Make a telehealth appointment by booking online via the HotDoc app, from our website or call the clinic on 6584 4544.
If your doctor determines you need to be seen, a time will be arranged for you to attend the Clinic. For general information regarding Coronavirus call the Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 020 080.
Please note, it is very important that you have your regular appointments for chronic disease management. These can be done via telehealth to assist you to remain healthy during this time.
If you have difficulty breathing or experience other severe symptoms call an ambulance on 000. For other medical enquiries you can speak to a nurse at Health Direct on 1800 022 222.

After Hours Care
If you are a regular patient of the clinic and need urgent telephone advice from one of our doctors when we are closed, you can contact our On Call Doctor. Please note however, this service is not bulk billed and no rebate will be paid through Medicare. You will be charged a fee of $75 for your call. The phone number is 0418 869 606.
